Cub Low Boys???

(quoted from post at 08:42:55 12/11/11) The lowboys have their own line of attachments. There might be a couple that would work, but most will not.

Are they harder to find than regular model ones? The tractor is a "61 i'm looking at.

With a fast hitch, a few interchangeables come to mind. The fast hitch 194 moldboard plow, rear Woods 42 mower, rear blade and the platform carrier. With a regular drawbar, really nothing interchanges except most of the loaders that were available. With belly mowers and such, they are the same decks but use different mounting brackets and mule drives. Their intended use was mowing and they're my favorite for snow plowing with a front blade

They are harder to find since there were fewer Lo-Boys made. What implements are you interested in using? I have 3 Lo-Boys and have/had several pieces and know of some sources.

There were a lot of implements made for the Loboy, including a FH plow with it's own design and number. Check around for photos and you will see the difference in the plows. As being able to interchange them? Previous post says you can, others have told me no so I have passed up a lot of Cub plows. I put together a small assortment of FH implements for my Loboy in a fairly short period of time...drawbar, blade, Mott flail mower. Could have had some others but the price can get beyond reason. Stuff is out there. They are nice little tractors. Only complaint I have heard is a lack of guts when using a rotary mower on tall grass so I would not say they are just for mowing. Farmallcub.com for info.
