c-152 engine oil pump.

Buy the gaskets from CaseIH so you don't have to guess. Yes they act as a shim. If you have not worked on the cover just put in the same number.

But if you HAVE worked on the cover, then how do you determine how thick or thin that gasket needs to be?
 
I have not had to do that yet, but I would like to know. I did put a replacement cover on my Super A and used the same number of gaskets, pressure is fine. Won't know if I am damaging it unless it gives problems.
