I'm selling entire lot of F30/F20s, and trying to figure out the total shipping weight without loading the tractors onto a trailer and actually weight it. Anticipated load = F30 = FB11193 = 85% complete, F30 = FB5214 = 85% complete, F20 = FB15161 = 25% complete, F30 = missing serial number plate = 90% complete. Check photos add if interested.

so lemme guess, you wanna know how much they weigh so you can scrap them right??

if you really wanna sell the stuff, you're not gonna do it the way you want. sell part by part and tractor by tractor. its the only way your gonna do it.

one other thing. when you call the scrap yard and ask price per tone, they're gonna tell you a good price so you haul it in. then once you get there, they'll ding ya for having tires on it, ding ya for oversize and not prepared, and ding ya for them having to seperate the cast from the steel. if the engines are stuck they'll probably ding you for whats called a 'dirty engine' which still has the pistons in it

the F-30 weighs in around 5200 lbs and the F-20 around 4400 lbs. that is complete tractor. That also doesn't take into account if the tires have fluid in them.

Not sure where you are headed with this questions, but if you are planning to scrap, it is a shame.

Lot's of F-20's around, but the F-30's are not real common out east here. If you are truly looking to scrap these, there are some parts that will bring WAY more than scrap price if you are willing to part some of it out, and then scrap what is left.

If you are going to scrap these, I would be interested in making you a good offer on certain parts off the F-30's and possibly the F-20's. Send me an email to discuss if you wish. [email protected]

My primary mission is to sell the tractors and parts as a package deal, and save a piece of American history for future generations. However, my time is limited, and parting out the tractors and parts is just too difficult when I have a dozen other family projects to focus on.

if the tractors are that complete they should have no problem selling on thier own if priced accordingly. in your pic, you have pallets of parts laying there. tak epictures of them and list them, its not like you have to take a whole tractor apart
