I bought a 52 farmall h in July of this year. At that time I checked oil and it was clean. I replaced the radiator and water pump, got the tractor started and notice a gray seepage out of my govenor. Turned off tractor and checked oil, it is now a grey color possibly indicating water in the oil. Any one have any ideas.

Head gasket is always a first guess for water in the oil.

Pull the plugs and crank the engine - see if there's any obvious water spraying out.

Check the compression while you're there.

no water and decent compression doesn't prove the gasket's good, but finding water or bad comperssion will make you feel better about going through the trouble of pulling the head.

Some areas have high condensation rates or rain water can enter from the exhaust if outside and uncovered. If you have antifreeze in it, crack the drain plug after tractor sits a day and see if water drops or antifreeze drops drip out before the oil. Disreguard this post if the above doesn't apply.

Teddy it won't apply to a 52 model with original engine. They stopped using the plugs sometime in 1944.
