Instaled a new clutch in the 47 farmall cub and it won't release.I have adjusted the fingers and the free play four or five times all diffrent ways and no goodGrinds going into gear once you get it in as long as you keep the pedal down you can go through all the gears. Is it possible I put the disc in backwards. The release bearing seems to be loose on the shaft. You can reach in the hole and move side to side about 3/16 of an inch.any thoughts on this one? The old clutch worked fine but I had to change the rear main seal so figured I'd do the clutch while I had it split. Should have left it alone.(if it ain't broke leave it alone)

You do have a rockford clutch right? What did you adjust the fingers to? Should be 1 1/4" from the tip of the finger straight to the backside of the pressure plate. After this is set, the the pedal is adjusted to 1" free play. That will set the TOB 1/8" from the fingers. It is not possible to install the disc backwards unless you force it which will buckle the disc.
