464 Gas tank

I am working on a 464 IH and gas tank is all rusted inside. I wondered if any body knew of a after market company that carried one???

Case IH still has one for the 574 the last time I checked - The price though, around 800.00 is downright scarey.

went that route already price was 1200.00!!!!

I just dropped mine off Friday at Kuhn's Tractor Repair, Oxford NY to have it repaired and lined. Cost will be $400-$500 but with the lining it should last longer than the rest of the tractor and be better than new. My local IH dealer told me $1,049 for new if they were available, which they aren't. A lot of radiator shops can do the same thing but he has experiance with the odd shaped 464 tank. I figured I could have cobbed it up with some epoxy but it wasn't worth burning down my barn with another leak.
