Frt tire size

I was wondering if anybody knows what size FRT tire"s came on a IH 2500b from the factory, My new tractor has Pick up frt tires on it. I think i would like to install 7.50 -16 10 ply 3 rib any info ?

your rim size will determine the tire size. What size are the truck tires currently on there? The rim diameter is the most important number to know. the width is forgiving within a couple inches most of the time.
You could find used rim and tire assemblies in the size you require as long as the offset and bolt pattern will work. agricultural equipment has had fairly standard rim bolt patterns for over 50 years.

Well, he could have just written 'ft' if he really wanted to make it short, so I'd say frt in a nice happy medium sort of a way to spell it.

The rim diameter is 16 inch I was looking at 3 rib design 7.50 -16 but I noticed you can get a 16 inch diameter tire in several different widths. I also thought it would be good to get a heavy side wall like a ten ply because of the frt loader bucket any thaughts ?
