Old-F-20, In that stud work, was there a brand or kind of heli coil you perfer? I have done a little poking around and see there is a locking type for studs so they will not move after install. The 10-20 will not be in the shop till around first of the year, so I have some time to locate supply"s. I will look for as much online help as I can get because I don"t wont to do it again. I would like to do this in frame, so taken it to machine shop is not in my plans. oldiron29

Actually I think "helicoil" might be a brand name, and, if so, probably the best option...should be available at most any parts store.

The locking type are Keenserts. If where the studs are installed isn't worn too much helicoils should fix the problem. Talk to your local auto machine shop. You may be able to get of them to install them on the tractor. Hal

Old-F20, I have a fastenal store not to far away.
That would be great if I could get everything there. oldiron29
