Super H Brakes

My brakes on my super H are worn out. I have found where I can buy the replacement disc but on the brake assembly itself the brake expander arms are worn out or at least I think that is the proper name. Where can these be purchased along with the pins that connect them to the assembly.
How much should I expect to pay. Any other hints on redoing the brakes. Thanks

the 'arms' should be had at a CNH dealer, try m essicks . com. Also o em sells completley rebuilt brakes but there pretty pricy. If not get a set of used ones and take the parts off of them, a guy buy the name of Zach parted a Super H out awhile back if you post a want add he should reply.

The important procedure in rebuilding those disc brake assemblies is to mill or plane .100 off the main brake hub. That makes up for the wear on the inside, and on the corresponding face on the tractor.

How do you know .100 is the answer? Couldn't you measure something somewhere to make sure that wasn't too much or not enough? What happens next time? I take another .100 off and I am up to .200 off?

I had this same question. I took the brake drums, expanders, bull pinion retainer, and new pads to my machinist. He measured everything and
machined all braking surfaces as well as the outside mating surface of the drum. I don't know how much he took off. He did keep the two sides
separate and requested I don't interchange components from side to side.

They work perfect and will lock the tires up.

I/we could find no measurements of what the new components started out as.
