Cub Question

Hey guys, I just got me another tractor :) A 1953 Cub. I am wondering if the drawbar off of my Super A will fit on my cub? It did not have one on it when I got it.

Thanks as always,

Cole

Thanks for the smart&$% comment, I am many miles away from it right now as it is at my other farm. Wanted to know before I bid on one and go up there. All other comments from non-bullheaded people are appreciated.

The A and the cub take 2 different size drawbars. mounting is different as well. there are a couple of cub drawbars on ebay right now. Both look decent if those are the ones you are referring to.

Will not fit. They can be found on Ebay.

I believe the actual width of the drawbar is pretty close, but the problem you will have is the brackets that you use to connect it to the finals. Super-A brackets will not bolt up to the Cub without modification, and you can't use Cub brackets with a Super-A bar because of the holes used to connect it to the brackets.

Bottom line, I guess it can be done with modification, but it will not just bolt up.

I have taken a draw bar off a 100 and put it on a Cub made a few brackets to meet the Cub finals overall not that hard to rig up. by the way its what i had laying around so thats what it got kinda thing.

Cub drawbars are plentiful and cheap. There is no need to adapt a Super A drawbar unless you have one sitting around.

...and if you don't like the answers you get, you can always ask for your money back!
