Identifying Farmall tractor

Dad has a friend with an offset Farmall and its bigger than a Cub. It looks like a Super A or 140 but the nose metal is round. I didnt get any sheet metal with it just going to prep and paint the castings for the man.

Its also got the S brace and the diamond shaped front axle like an industrial. I dont think its a high crop. I do have the model and serial numbers here.

Model number FAA11
serial 276462

There should be no "11" after the FAA. FAA means Farmall, IAA means International, or as some people say, industrial. The serial indicates a 1949 Super A. The brace diamond axle was an option. To be more "sure" it is a Farmall and not International, check the engine prefix. FAAM for Farmall, IAAM for International, as the seat could have been changed. Engine could have been changed also. Check the casting codes and see if they are at least within a few months of each other. S is 1949.

Farmall Super A with the optional heavy duty front axle. Not an International (industrial) which would have IAA prefix on numbewrs.

regardless of what the tag says, industrials had the square front axle and the foot throttle. Now, 1 of 2 things has happened. Either the front axle and the foot throttle were put on a regular SA

or

Someone swapped out the seat mount without changing the tag. Does the block have a serial number on it and does it match the tag?

or

this is a variation that I have never heard or seen of. Since I am not an expert on these, that too is a very possible possibility.
