Super M rear main bearing seal or gaskets..

I noticed a bit of weeping from, what at first I thought was the oil pan gasket, then the crankcase dust cover gasket. Now I am wodering if it is coming from the rear main bearing somewhere. It is not a terrible leak, just a weep. Any obvious tell tales with out taking it apart? If I had to replace gaskets or seals, would it mean splitting the tractor?

It has to be split. If you are not equipped to do that don't do it. Both engine and rear are very heavy, you need a splitting stand. I have split lighter tractors with an engine hoist. Don't try that with a Super M, too hard to balance.
