I was going to take oil from the IPTO seasonal disconnect plate and return it to the spare shifter plate on the rear frame lid.

This should be much better. The 560 hydraulic pump is constantly circulating Hy-Tran into the filter cavity. My add-on front-mounted hydraulic pump will draw oil from the cavity and suck it through a large strainer partially seen on the right.

I sprung for a high capacity IH oil filter extension and filter. Figured it would reduce the negative head for oil going to the IH pump. I also added a drain plug to capture the oil when changing the filter. Don't know why IH didn't do that.

Nice job there Wardner. The hi capacity filter was good move. I did that with my 504 when I put the loader and 17 gpm pump on.

It certainly make for a neat looking setup. I take it that's on your 660? What are you using the pump for? Sam

Not really ready to post these pictures but since you asked, I just shot these.

The pump will power a winch, outriggers, and a small crane.

The lever valve will run the winch/hoist. The two spools connected by cable will set the outriggers and elevate the boom. The crane won't be ready for several weeks. The valve bank is not attached to the tractor frame. It is secured to the snowplow frame. The crane and snowplow can both be mounted at the same time but probably won't be.

When the crane is off, I can use the outriggers to lift tractor so that the winch can pull better. I am also thinking of putting wings on the snowplow. They would use the cable spools from the "cab" to power rotate them for max width or angled ahead for scooping.

The snowplow is power down or floating. Does a fine job pushing compost or scrapeing loam/brambles. Been thinking of chaining up all four wheels. Only need to buy the front chains. I think I have a set for the rears.

If it wasn't for you, Charles, I wouldn't have known about the high capacity oil filter. Thanks.
