I am in need of one part for a belly mount model 22 sickle mower for a SA,100,etc. It is part number 457324R1. It looks like a flat bar with 3 holes and is called "Extension, rockshaft arm." I can't find one- it looks like it would be easy to make, but I would have to have one to go by- is there a source on the internet that the specs would be available or could someone give me the measurements? Thanks.

Actually, you don't really need one to go by.

The bar thickness comes from the width of the slot in the touch control arm.

Length can be done many ways...

If you've got a picture, you can print it out, measure the bar, then measure something else on the tractor in the picture (such as the oil filter canister width). Measure your real-life oil filter canister width, and use that to scale up your measurement of the bar.

You can eyeball it. I would start out with a 12" bar. It should be more than enough. If it's too much, simply drill another hole for the chain closer to the touch control arm.

All the arm has to do is go low enough to give you enough chain slack to unhook it, and lift high enough to get the mower off the ground.

The Parts Depot in Chilton Wisconsin claims to have four of them. They won't sell direct, you have to go through a participating dealer. You can call them, (920)849-2660, and they will verify they have stock and refer you to a nearby dealer who can give you pricing, then order it for you.

Might be worth checking out before fabbing one up.
