I have a cub with no serial plate on it. are there other numbers on the tractor that might help identify whst its birth year was,,,,Thanks

there are cast coded dates on major cast parts like the engine block, head, final drives etc. they will have a number like (example) 11-14-Z this would indicated nov. 14th of 1954 the part was made. When you find this code put it on here and someone will respond to the date.

Or you can hunt around on on all the cub sites and you"ll find the casting codes Andrew is talking about. You"ll be able to figure out the age fast. Its a ton of fun and interesting aswell. <
