Installing Tank Type block heater on Farmall 340-How?

I am trying to find the best way to install a tank type block heater on my Farmall 340. I know about the drain on the side of the block, but from there I am stuck. On my 400 I have one that came installed, and it goes from the side of the block to the upper radiator hose. There was a nipple installed into the side of the hose and it "appears" to be something that was bought to go there. Any ideas, direction. I have also seen block heaters sold for the 340, but done believe it can be installed on mine, unlesds I am missing something.

Is there a temp sending unit on the head? Put a t fitting there. I don"t see how it would work if you put it in the hose unless you take the thermostat out. With it in , it will go through the radiator instead of the block.
