I have a type "A" injector pump on my Farmall 400 Diesel. Fuel leaking into the injector pump. I assume bad seals in primary pump? Scavenger valve seemed to move freely and not stuck when I removed it. Suggestions on where to send primary pump to get serviced and seals replaced? and how much will this cost me?

In June 2011, pump exchange price was $1,015 + $400 core charge or they will rebuild YOUR pump for $588 + parts but that may go over $1,015. Injectors are $84ea + parts to have rebuilt.

Most any injection pump shop should be able to repair the primary pump if they can find the parts. I am assuming you would take the primary pump off of the injection pump and take it in , not the whole injection pump as not all shops are equipped to repair them.

What Pete said. I took mine to a local shop 5+ years ago and it was a $110 job including the gasket that mounts the pump to the injection pump.
