1486 lower arms

Looking at a 1486 that the casting where the lower arms attach to the rear case is different than any other 1486 I've even seen and looks much more like its from a 5088 or 5288. They are red, but could have been painted. Is this a factory thing or maybe a retrofit situation?

I think you are looking at the optional style sway bar hitch, not common but was available.

Neighbor has a late model 1586 with those type of arms and blocks, looks like a better setup than the ealrier ones had.
