super h belly pump

Removal is fairly straightforward:

- Remove the operating lever, and unscrew the filler pipe and (3) hydraulic outlets

- Remove the dust cover under the belly casting, then remove the pump drive shaft. (Pull the large cotter pin from either end of the shaft then slide the coupling sleeve back to disengage the shaft)

- Support the pump with a suitable saddle jack then remove the (4) 3/8" cap screws from the pump mounting flange. Now lower the pump from the belly. BE CAREFUL! The pump is top-heavy and will "flop and drop" if lowered uncontrolled!!

Alternative to the above step: Get a couple 2' lengths of 3/8" threaded rod and two nuts. Remove two of the cap screws from diagonally opposite corners of the pump flange and replace with the threaded rods and nuts. Run the nuts just snug to the pump flange. Now remove the two remaining cap screws, then lower the pump by gradually turning down the nuts on the threaded rods.
