model A wiring

model a wiring from 6 volts to 12. have a 12 volt
alt. and amp meter 3 way switch. Batt, I S, also
have a ford solenoid and ballast res. need help
with the wiring. thanks

Assuming it is a Delco alternator, The following diagrams are all you need. The solenoid is wired with the following:
Wire from Battery Positive to the Relay (solenoid) big terminal closest to the small terminal with an S near it. Wire from Amp gauge (10gauge) also hooks at that terminal.
Wire from start (switch/button.Key S terminal) to the S terminal on Relay (12gauge). Wire from I terminal on relay to + marked coil side of the ballast resistor (12gauge).
#0ga Wire, or copper conductor, from the Big relay terminal to the starter input terminal.
Wire from the ignition switch to the ballast resistor other terminal not connected to coil.
All others as in diagram attached. Jim
