Reunited with my first crush

Just took possession of my favorite tractor that my uncle had on the farm. I spent my teenage summers (1970-1975) on the farm. I just loved the way that the "diesel" looked. That 350D Utility has a "Hot Wheels" look to it. Anyways, whatever job I did with the "diesel" was aways more enjoyable. She's pretty rough. I'm not into restoration. (Yet) Just want to get her back into shape to relive my youth. I'll need to find manuals, diagrams, part lists, etc and part sources. I've seen where serial numbers have been researched as to options, build year etc. Here is her vitals, I think she's a 1958, Her SN is 16936 D S

Any help getting pointed in the right directions is greatly appreciated

Thanks

If it has the gen it is likely Positive Ground. Look at the cables to see which is attached to the bigger terminal! Jim, 350U (gas) owner

It is really unique with those halftracks. I would definitely restore it with the halftracks. Main thing, have fun with it.

FARMALL 350 we had was 12v POSITIVE ground with a generator. Coldest natured thing to start I have ever had. LOUDEST thing if you ever got it started. Was glad to see that thing go down the road. Traded for a F656.

(quoted from post at 09:09:47 11/09/11) sorry the tracks are not for sale.

GOOD! Make sure you put them back on there if you plan to show the tractor when you're done.

no problem. that is sweet with the tracks!! i'd like to find a set to put on an old tractor someday, but i have too many projects as it is.
