plumbing cab heater on y-a-r cab

hi i am going to plumb the cab heater on an y-a-r cab that i installed on a 706 with a d282 and i have 2 questions first setting on the seat looking at the heater core there on the left side with the valve is that the in side of the core? next what is the best place on a 282 to connect the hoses thanks scott

For the hot water you can put a TEE in where the temp gauge probe goes and come off the top of the head and return to the water pump. . Hot hose goes to the valve .

If you don't have access to a return port on the water pump you can return the coolant to the radiator drain instead.
