Safety Gages

I remember seeing an ad years ago in one of the farming magazines about safety gages. You would install them, and if your engine was getting too hot, or lost oil pressure it would shut it down before damage. I was thinking about doing this for my 403 combine. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks

Sounds like a "Murphy Switch Gauge" to me.

Yup - Murphy oil pressure and temperature "Swichgages". Commonly used engines driving unattended irrigation pumps, natural gas compressors, etc.

Wisconsin engines used to use them, Not sure is they still do.
