Hi,I picked up a couple fixer-upper 1086's Need to do clutch,t/a and no reverse in one.Does anybody have some pictures of splitting stands for doing clutch and to split rear frame from t/a section.I was planning on building my own just need some ideas.Thanx in advance.

lots of wood cribbing, no concrete blocks.

I prefer 4x6 and 6x6's

hard floor to work on.. floor jacks, bottle jacks, and a high lift jack if needed all help. heavy duty jack stands.. etc.. etc.

I built a set for splitting an H or M. I suppose you could use a cherry picker for removing the center section after doing the split? I've got pictures that have been posted here before, but if you can't find them, I'll see if I can find them again. I absolutely do not like the idea of wood cribbing, especially for a tractor the size of a 1086.

Just a few pics to give you ideas, although triangle frames work really nice as well.

Thanx for the replies and pictures,I'm gonna pick up some square tubing and build some stands.I don't like the wood cribbing and bottle jack idea for that heavy of a tractor, its ok for a H or M.
