Only sound better than the bark of a Farmall with a straight pipe firing up on a crisp fall morning, is the sound of the little steel door slamming shut on my havahart in the attic.
This dirty tree rat thought it would be OK to chew through my cedar shakes and move right in. Then last night he brought his girlfriend over for a romp around the rafters.
Took two days for him to take the bait. I was beginning to think he had a peanutbutter alergy. Then this morning, clink! He has now been evicted, and some fresh bread and peanutbutter is waiting in the attic for his girlfriend.
The dirty tree rat was not much impressed with the AV I picked up a few weeks ago along with a Super AV. AV ran when I got it. Super AV was advertised as "stuck". No hand cranks on either tractor. Soon as I got them home and on the ground, I got the crank from my A and gave the Super a tug, seemed to be stuck, put two hands on the crank and gave a harder tug, bingo she came free. Now they both run. Got lucky.
