I need help locating an engine for a worthington portable air compressor, it has a IH uc135b engine on it that is stuck, does anyone know of a more popular engine that will fit in its place? or someone that possibly has sleeves and pistons for one

Pistons and sleeves that fit the C135 should fit. C135 was used in the 330, 340, and 404, probably in others also. The C153 is a sleeveless version of the 135 -- don't know how practical that is. The crankshafts in the 135 and 135B are different, meaning the rods are likely different also. This is from my 4 cylinder IH manual.
 
Thank you for the information, I am wondering what IH engines use the same belhousing bolt pattern and flywheel as the uc135b as those pieces I need to use because they used a gear inside a sprocket to run the compressor.

I'm afraid that the a.b.c engines might be underpowered for the air compressor, will the c153 engine use the same bellhousing and flywheel ? are they easier to find.

Can I buy just the sleeves and piston rings? I have it apart and everything looks good except for the above items so far.

I found a 153 engine and replaced it . so far so good. Im in south central Minnesota , are you interested in the 135?
