IH #60 plow

Iam replacing the wheel bearings on the rear furrow wheel. Can I drive the races out with a punch and how do I install the new ones.

If it is like my #16(Which I think it is???)There is a big"washer" set behind the bearing race that sits on a ledge in the hub.It is very hard to punch out the bearing race without desroying that washer.I had one h#&l of a time doing mine!

If that washer was notched on both sides,it would be easier to drive them out.If you hit directly on the washer,it will bend it!

You dont wanna tear up that washer!Maybe others will "chime in" !
