Starting Again

Hi Guys. I usually post on the Ferguson forum but I'm getting ready to start restoring a 1946 F.A.A Farmall. I have already done a Super A for a good friend, but this is a Kerosene model. Is there any difference in the engine and carb. He ran it on gas all the time. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.
Here are some pics of the 48 Super A before and after and the beginning of the beginning of the Kerosene A.

Mike, nothing dramatic. It all depends upon how much of the distillate kit is installed.

thumbnail of what to look for: dished pistons, different manifold, starting tank, temp guage, different hood to accomodate starting tank.

Any of these can be replaced with regular A parts. If you have more questions, feel free to give me a call. Send me an email if you want to talk, I can reply with my phone number.
