Good man, and way to go. I have a full compliment of the letter series, but would probably not pass up a situation like this one!

I winced up for sure when I seen that. Breaks my heart but got the price down haha. They cut my Lp hood too Jerks.

X 1 means you have a higher compression gasoline engine without
the starting tank, shutters and such that would be used on a
distillate or kerosene engine. It looks like a great find.

Well that is good to hear at least there is two of us. These were what we had growing up couldnt afford the new stuff, but we made it happen with what we had. Now it is my personal mission to save as many as I can. Have a six year old im trying to keep interested sofar he loves it.

Thanks Larry O

Make it three of us!

I am a TAD bit older than you guys (1block,Jason the red)
I got hooked on these by the fact my dad as a kid got around my great grandfather's Super C with fast hitch.I heard many storys about that and how great those Ms were! That was the only reason I ever bought my Super M.The greatest mechanical thing I ever bought!

I'm a 79 model and love this vintage stuff too. I love the letter series up through the 86 series. I have a 450 and a 706 (not trailer queens). Dad had a M, B and a JD 60 growing up, I never did care for the hand clutch and green paint.

Not enough funds to collect them yet but I see better times ahead, I can't wait until the shed is so full I have to build another.

Nate

I would like to see that shed! I would sleep in there. Thanks for all the feedback guys. Im gonna try to get IA way this weekend. The man has 12 in the dirt so we will see.lol
