the case ih site now has online purchasing you have to select a dealer who accepts payment on line my question is does case ih drop ship to you or does the parts go to the dealer then the dealer ship to you?

I haven't tried that because I have a local dealer. Not sure, but I imagine the dealer ships everything. There is a possiblility that it will come to you directly from the distribution center, but I somehow doubt it as they have enough to do. In my area the local dealer is not part of that program. The nearest participating dealer is 50 miles away -- no advantage to that because neither stocks old parts, they are sent to the local dealer who charges me for shipping. My suggestion is that instead of getting them from a nearby dealer, if you have one, is to order your parts from Carter and Gruenwald, a CaseIH dealer in WI. They have most parts in stock and you will get them in 3-4 days -- excellent service. Another possibility is www.external_link. Only my opinion, perhaps someone else has actually used the CaseIH web site and will respond.

im bout 45 mile from any dealer and work most saturdays hard for me to get to a dealer so i buy most everything on line. i buy quite a bit from here at YT and messicks its just real handy for me

I work nights so getting a call in to the dealer to order parts is sometimes difficult for me so I have used the online ordering but always just selected to pick up the items at the dealer as its on my way to my farm when I go there on the weekends. Let us know what you find out on the shipping though as it would also be convenient for me as well...
