Arps Tracks

I have a small farm in Western NY we have had a terrible wet fall and the corn fields are bad. We normally do not get cold enough weather to freeze the ground until late December or January, By then the deer will probably have destroyed most of a nice crop. We purchased a set of Arps half tracks for an "M". Originnally they were going to be just a novelty but now I am looking a little closer at them. They have very little signs of wear on them. My question is does any one have any experience actually using these things? I have about 6 acres of field corn that I want to pull a one row picker and gravity box through. Sorry about the spelling any advice would be helpful.

My advice would be to remove one n from "originnally". The rest looks great. Is that what you wanted?
Gramatically I'd go with"Any advice would be helpful. Sorry about the spelling". :)

I have a friend that has them on a Cockshut 20 and that tractor will go anywhere you point it here in Vermont, as long as it's not on ground steep enough to role it. I was amazed at the traction it has and the smaller footprint it leaves when the ground is wet.
