I just picked up a 1950 H today and it has disk brakes on it. I don't think that they are IH but some after market ones. I have not taken them apart or even looked at them. The question that I have what brand are they and can you get parts for them? Thanks

they are lambert, discs are available from ih, 5 years ago they were expensive, can only imagine what they cost now.

They are Osco-Lambert disks. They were not original equipment, but some were installed at dealerships.
There are sources for disks, and existing disks can be re lined at clutch rebuilding shops. Jim

My 1950 H also had a set of those Osco-Lamberts on it. The left side worked fairly well, not great, but the right side worked part of the time, didn't work most of the time. I pulled them off and replaced with original type band brakes. Problem solved. The Lamberts are still laying in a pile on the floor of my shop. I should probably just throw them on the iron pile.
