TA Eliminator Kit

Have a Internalional 340 which we only use to brush hog and pland food plots. The TA & TA clutch are shot. What your thoughts on just putting a "TA Eliminator Kit"?

If you don't need the TA, you won't miss it. I sure don't.

The TA eliminator kit will be about as much as the Ta repair clutch and ramp/rollers. No issue with the change, do it if you want, I believe the TA is a great element of every tractor that has it. Your application does not need it, but reselling it would be less money to some, and an advantage to others, I would never consider a tractor W/O a TA if it was so equipped to begin with. Jim

I agree with jim just fix the ta its about the same amount of work and then you will have it again.

If you fix it and don't abuse it, the TA will last many lifetimes with the limited use the tractor will see.

Where the heck do you get a "TA eliminator kit" anyway??? That's NLA from CaseIH last I checked.

Only place you can find the TA eliminator kit is a junk tractor with it installed. 340's ain't exactly common, and nearly all of 'em have/had TAs.
