Farmall C

On a farmall c in order to replace the fan belt you have to loosen the fan spindle. I cant find a tool that will work on the 15/16th nut on the backside of the fan spindle bracket.A socket will not fit,nor will any wrench i have tried.Did IH dealers have a special tool for this? Thanks. Jim

Loosen by turning the front side. The bracket should hold the nut from turning.

You dont turn the back nut nest to the head as it fits in the grouve of the bracket you turn on the front side of that bracket. You mite have rounded the nut so now it mite turn if it does just put a wrench on it to keep it from turning
