Hydraulic lft capacity, touch control vs H belly pump

The touch control lift on my Super A seems under powered. Checked pressure and it goes to 1100#
at full throttle but will not lift a A16 sickle mower on the back of my carry all( just want to move it). I can get a Farmall H with a FEL and wondered how much more it will lift.

The belly pump only puts out 7-800 psi, I think, however the weight you can lift is dependent on the size of the cylinders and the geometry of how far the weight is from the pivot point. I know I was able to lift an Allis B rear end/transmission/rear hubs/final drives assembly with the loader on my H which has fairly small cylinders, so I would think it would work to lift your mower.

Thanks Zack, had a senior moment there comparing the 3PT hitch on the SA to lift cylinders on a FEL. Your point on the geometry of position probably makes it more difficult for the touch control arms to lift that weight where its maybe 3 feet beyond the lift point on the 3PT. Thanks,
