F-20 Engine Swap

Does the engine from an F-30 fit into an F-20? Just curious, thinking about trying it.

A ton of fab work for not much gain too. Just recently saw a freshly rebuilt F20 with high dome pistons and gas manifold pull 40hp belted to the dyno.

not without a lot of work, a 30 has longer frame rails and everything on a 30 is bigger than a 20.

Eric, if you have access to a decent F-30 engine, and have no plans for one in the future, sell it. You will get enough $$$ to buy brand new high compression pistons for your F20. For less money and effort, you can crank that old girl up to meet or beat a stock F-30.

Bozemen Machine in Lubbock, Tx had an F30 rear section tied to a MM U a little while back. It was priced reasonable.
