404 rear tire swap

Need to replace my 13.6 x 28"s. Can get some used 13.6 x 24"s local & reasonable. Will this work / or make a material difference? I use her for a little brush hogging, hauling firewood, & sometimes moving dirt with the loader.

I suspect it will take a bit of stretching to get those 24" tires on the 28" rims!

You can not put 24" tires on a 28" rim. You will have to change out the rim and hub.

...if you can even FIND a 24" rim and hub to fit a 404! If you do it would probably have been cheaper to just buy new tires.

The second dimension is the diameter of the rim. Tire must match the rim dimension. Tires do NOT stretch.
