pickup weight

Hi guys I have an off topic question. I know of a IH 1200 4x4 pickup with snow plow that was going to scrap. I ask the guy how much $ that would be. He said he did not no the weight. If any of you can give me a round about weight for that truck I think I may have a new plow truck project. Thanks oldiron29

My '76 F-250 4x4 weighed a touch over 5000 road ready/no driver or passenger. Would guess the binder to be about the same, having owned one back in the day.

I would ask him if he would take scrap price of 5000 lbs, then go from there. My guess is with the plow it is closer to 5500, but that gives some room to negotiate.

And the IH V8 engines are LOT heavier than the Ford V8 engines.
