power unit U21

Hi there, I got this power unit but can't find anything about it. It's a U21 6 cyl it looks like a U12 in the red book.Serial #UH4247Z26,this engine looks to be the same engine as in my T35 seril #TKBB1155 which i think is a early 37. Looking for year and any information. This is a complete unit off a old sawmill, Thanks

UH is the prefix for a U-21. I assume the Z26 is a suffix and the actual sequence number is 4247. If so, it was built in November 1941. The first U-21 was built May 1938, the last (at least at Tractor Works) November 1943.

Thanks for the imformation so what is the bore and stroke and does any one know the month and production # of my crawler. Its so hard to figure out since they put gas and diesel together

Tractordata says 3 5/8 x 4 1/2 but I didn't check another source. Tractordata is right more often than not. TKBB1155 was April '37. Go to this page and click on "Serial Number Lists". You need to know what factory to check, in this case Tractor Works.
