I am looking for some info on size. I found a paulson load about 50 miles away which was on a farmall 300. Will it fit a farmall m without modification? Or if I have to modify it? what would I have to do? From the pictures I saw it looks like it has two brackets which mount on the side rails of the engine and then the loader connects to the brackets.

The 300 frame is 2 inches narrower than the M. I went from an M to a 350 and had to add 1 inch of steel to each side.

I think the frames of loaders are all the same, but when used on the narrower tractors spacers were added so I think you would be just fine on the M.

good info. Any reason it should not work?

Had another guy call me with a paulson which was on an H. it was modified with cylinders on the front as well. He said the control valves go with the loader. Is it hard to plumb in "T's" to make it work on my M which is original plumbing? or am I dreaming that it would be that easy?????

The 300 frame is about 9 " longer because of the torque amplifier. Also the M is wider up front. You will have to shim it up somewhat.

You don't plumb in Tee's.

All you have to do is mount the control valve somewhere convenient. Run a hose from the right hydraulic port on the belly pump to the IN on the valve. Run a hose from the OUT on the valve to the fill pipe on the belly pump. Done.
