Will the governor from an H work on an M and if not, will the shaft and weights work in the M housing?

Surely will, the governors are identical.

They will pretty much work, but there are a few things you have to swap out. Somebody that knows more (or a search) will tell you what you need to swap out.

The H tube is shorter than the M tube, so change it out and you are good to go.

Thanks for the replies, I noticed that the gears have different part numbers and wasn't sure if they have to be changed.
