Front Tires

I have a 1951 Farmall M its a narrow front end with 2 tires and it needs front tires. It has 5.50-16's on it now and they look small. I would like to replace them with the correct size the tractor came with. The rims measure 5" wide by 16" diameter and there are 2 tires on a narrow front end.

According to TractorData, they should be 6.00- 16.

600 x 16 was the standard size front tiresw on the M.

I run 6.00-16s on my tractors. Where are you located? I could use the old one on one of my plows.

To hijack his post...is there a metric size that will fill in for the 6.00-16? I have a pretty good relationship with the tire shop and I could probably get the tires I needed for free from the take off pile.
