Yet another step closer. gas tank and fuel lines on. New plugs and plug wires. Put some fuel in, no leaks in the lines, but the float seems to be sticking open. Will figure that one out soon.

AND

got her to fart a couple of times. will probably need to belt her to the H or the F-12 to git 'er runnin'. However, it was good to hear her pop a couple of times. Arm got tired from crankin'

Only thing left is to get the radiator hooked up. Will get her started first before I do the radiator hookup. I am not very confident that rad core is going to hold water, but I have a good used one.......just a pita to replace.

Looks like things are coming along well Tom! I wish I were as far along as you. When do we get to see some pictures?

I flew home for the weekend and was able to get all of my engine parts brought home and put into storage till who knows when.

She's a 1928 barn find, pretty much all there and fairly intact. She is on full steel. As for the wires, I buy bulk copper core wire and make my own. Rajah terminals. I use Champion w18's and Autolite 3077's. I like them both, and buy what's on sale at any given time.

My favorite is my F-20, and I bet this old girl will make me think twice about that!

Tom, Thanks for the brass fitting help. I got both out today in one piece ya!
Had a stuck Regular I brough in this summer and after freeing it and puting back together, It puffed on the first crank and started on the second. Even I was amazed. oldiron29
