650 pos or neg ground

The international 650 should be positive ground like all IH tractors built until 1958 when they changed to negative ground with introduction of 460, 560, 660 etc. That was one of the first things I noticed about the new line of tractors in the fall of 1958 when they came out was going to neg ground. The gasoline 450 for instance changed to a 12 volt system on the last ones but they still stayed with positive ground. Even though the diesels were 12 volt all along they were also pos ground up to that point also.
 
Definitely postive ground. I have an original 650-D and 450-D and they both are 12-volt postive ground. Al
 
well all the tractors i have or seen for some reason have neg. ground. so i learned something also. come to think of it i kinda remember seeing a sticker on a 450 that said pos. ground.

Both of my gas starts are neg ground.
