What color do you paint your rims?

I'm going to paint my Farmall 300 rims and I would like to know what shade of silver you use. I've seen some paint that looks metalic, and others that just look like silver. Where do I find this paint? CNH maybe?

Mark, opinions vary from the Hammered Galvanized to Aluminum paint, either is correct. Also the Paint Police will not write you a ticket for a paint infraction! LOL! I prefer Aluminum paint, and the shiner look it has. Not the grey look of the 88 Series tractor wheels paint have! That color more closely describes the Hammered Galvanized paint color.
Hope this helps.

The original galvanized rims were dull, sort of like a chain link fence. The silver-gray GM rally wheel color I use is PPG 8568. It is shinier than the original galvanized but not excessively bright like aluminum -- it suits me. The current CaseIH color is a little too gray in my opinion. BUT, since IH did not paint their rims, what you want is your opinion, or someone elses if you like their choice.

I believe I used the same code for my Case 930.. It matched both Chrysler and GM.. One called it Pewter, the other Argent Silver. (just can't recall which was which)

I'm a beginner when it comes to painting, but I really liked how it turned out, and how it looks, so it will be my silver of choice when I do my H and Cub (plus, if I can use one color on all 3, it's a double bonus when it comes time to have to touch up.. easier to remember what was used on what)

Only recommendation I have is don't use a grey primer.. I did (because it's what I have), and it was really hard for me to be sure I had 100% coverage.
