Farmall Belt Pulley

Are the rear belt pulleys for models A, B and C interchangeable? From pictures,they all appear to fit a 6-spline shaft. Are the diameters the same.

I know the A and B are the same. I think the C is the same too, but not 100% sure.

The pulleys themselves are the same (although there were 3 sizes). If you are asking about the entire pulley attachment, there are some complications.

Just recently i have seen a fiber pulley one on a B and the other on a C in all my years those are the first i have seen.

The bolt pattern is the same and so is the gasket. Not all spline gears were the same. Some had a different number of teeth. If you are mounting a used gear box on a different tractor there will be issues with matching the gears. The drive gear has shims that can be removed or added to set the spacing from that direction but it is a machine shop job to remove the gear to add or remove shims. Additional shims are on the pulley shaft and these are easier to get to. Enjoy!
