Which is the heavier duty? Mylar decals or vinyl decals. Or are they the same?

i go with vinyl, they are not the oem like mylar, but do not fade, peel, and are easier to put on.

Which is heavier duty? It's probably a toss up. I've seen some OLD mylar decals still going strong.

Can you catch a vinyl decal and rip it? Probably easier than catching a corner of the mylar one. But, the vinyl ones are pretty tough.

I put vinyl decals on mine when I redid it. Not even a question in my mind about vinyl over mylar when it comes to looks and ease of application. I would suspect longevity is probably about the same as well, with the exception of paint fade. If the paint fades on the tractor, it will show up as brghter red under the mylar one. You don't have to worry about that with the vinyl ones, as each letter/symbol is individually cut.
