Was going home and when I passed my local bone yard I see a 1952 Super M Stage 1 setting there on a fresh load.It is in pretty bad shape.I can tell it has been sitting outside A LONG TIME with its exaust uncovered(straight pipe).I couldnt roll the motor with the fan belt and fan.It is missing it's COMPLETE drawbar assembly,rear tires and rims are shot.Fuel that was in the bowl is brown.Sheet metal beat up.THEY ARE ASKING $800.00I told the guy it might be a little high.He says if it doesnt sell,he will start parting it out.
The only good thing was I asked if he would sell me the rear light?He says:"How about $7.00?" I couldnt pay him fast enough and leave! I have been looking for a combo rear light for a few years now,but wasnt gonna pay $80.00-$90.00 for one of those new ones!!! Switch works,bulbs are good,light is not beat up,lense is perfect! CANNOT wait to blast housing and paint it !!!!

Where is she at mike ?Do u have the guys number might pick that up for parts.what grill didi it have ?

Nicely done, Mike.That would make a nice discussion, wouldn't it -- what has been your best parts deal ever? Mine was a pair of nearly new (at least 90%) rear tires for a Cub. The woman I bought them from said that the tires were her son's, but he wanted turf tires on his Cub, and SHE wanted the darn things out of her garage. $40 for the pair!

The grill was the standard M grill.NOT the "Holy Grill".It was the early style grill,beat up!

Best deal ever for me was mta grill and battery box for 52 Super m (under tank) .I trimed a sliding door out for him charged the guy 75$ for the job ,then come out of his shed with those and gives them to me! Awesome he is a big massey guy and heard I had a farmall. Hope to be able to return the favor some day

Good job and great buy. My best buy was just recently. 2 brake covers, 1 working set of rad shutters, fuel pump, and throttle clips for an F-12. $65 for all and all in good shape. close 2nd was a trade. Early front rim for an F-12 for a good used set of main bearings and retainers for my F-30.
 
My best parts score was; The local snowmobile club was clearing the VAST (Vermont Association of Snow Travelers) trail that runs through my property. As I was talking to one of the guys he noticed I had a Super A and said "I have an old Farmall next to my barn that is in pieces. Do you want it?" I asked him what he wanted for it and he said "I just want it out of the barnyard." Needless to say, I was at his farm the next day. I came away with an A. No front end, the head was off and it had a cracked block. Besides those things it was intact. WOO HOO!!
