IH80 snowblower pics

Finally got my snowblower blasted, primed, and painted.I have most of it back together with new bearings installed. I still need to tear the gearbox apart as the shaft needs a new key way groved in it.
Anyone know if anybody makes decals for the IH 80 blowers? This blower had 10 layers of tremclad paint on it. Thanks Kent

Looks good! I bet you can move a ton of snow with that bad boy! I picked up a 6' Lorenz blower this summer. I can't wait to hog into some Wisconsin snow with it.
 
I'm thinking the 706, but I'm sure the 544 would do the trick too. I'll give each tractor a turn on it and see which likes it better. The 544 is a bit more nimble and does meet the HP recommendations of Lorenz to run it...but I'm going to play it by ear.
 
Looks good. Which decals are you looking for? Just the IH emblems & numbers or the warning decals, too? The plain "IH" & "INTERNATIONAL" decals are reproduced & sold through several sources. There may even be some on the site, here. If you want the number sets & warning decals, your local CaseIH dealer should be able to find those for you.

You can get decal packages through CIH, messicks has them listed on their parts site.

I have a 70, was planning on doing the same thing, paint and redecal, mine has most of the original decals, just missing the IH logos on the sides where the snow has worn against them.

Currently working on my gear box too! Ordered new seals and gasket, have to shim the bearings, seem fine otherwise.
 
WOW! What a Beast! Great paint job too!
Since that blower looks like it can move TONS of snow, I have to ask; did you use any special primer/ paint hardener, etc.?

Thanks Dave. I used a epoxy primer, then body filled the rough spots made by the sand blaster, then three coats of Poly Val urathane paint.Its a three part paint that is easy to paint with. Kent
