I have a 1947 International IA, the front and decal's have International A on it, the engine is stuck, has a diamond shape front axle, does not have a foot throttle, has cultivator frames on it, & tires are rotten. It's been under my barn for year's and ready to sell. Was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of what it is worth. I am thinking about selling it and don't want to over price but don't want to under price either. Any ideas or help with this? Serial number on it is I A A 196348
 
a stuck engine and bad tires is really going to hurt your price. Cultivators help, but only if they're complete/useable.

Assuming straight sheet metal, I'd say you'd be doing very well at around 700, but more likely to get much less, closer to scrap value.

If it were me I'd probably list it around 600 and see what happens.

Like anything, it all depends on your luck. If somebody near you wants one bad enough, they'll pay for it.

Try to free up the engine, it'd be worth the effort. You could add a couple hundred to the price.

And keep your eyes open for cheap tires. They do exist. Somebody scrapping an A might not mind trading wheels with you for free. You don't need great tires, just "useable" is worth something. Really depends on how rotten yours are of course.
 
Appreciate that, I knew the stuck engine and tire"s would reduce the price. I figured $600.00 was a good starting point but was looking for a second opinion. I suppose I was about right then and appreciate your advice and thought"s. Will see if I can make some of the recommendations your offered.
